Juventus has announced the signing of five-time Ballon d’Or winner on a four-year contract until 30 June 2022.

Cristiano made the move to Juventus after the Italian club agreed a €100m (£88.3m) fee for the Portugal forward with Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old is ready for a new challenge after nine years at Real and asked the La Liga club to let him go.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli was at Ronaldo's hotel in Greece to discuss the move.

The player's agent Jorge Mendes was understood to be meeting Real Madrid at the same time.

Ronaldo departs Real as the club's all-time top scorer, with an extraordinary 451 goals in 438 games.
