Two-time Ghana Premier League Champions Aduana Stars has parted ways with their championship winning coach Yusif Abubakar.
Coach Yusif Abubakar had few months left in his contract with the club but he is rumored to have accepted terms with Accra Hearts of Oak .
The Dormaa based club confirmed Yusif Abubakar had no issues with the club and are yet to reveal the details behind his sacking.
The former Hearts of Oak trainer who joined the Dormaa-based outfit less than nine months ago leaves the defending Ghana League champions in 14th place with just 14 points, and three outstanding games before the league went on recess.
He won the 2016/17 Ghana premier league after finishing runners-up in the previous season.
Aduana Stars are in Group A of the CAF Confederations Cup and are lying bottom of the table with only a point after two games.
Meanwhile, Aduana Stars have confirmed the appointment of former Inter Allies and Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi as the Club’s new head coach.
He will prepare the team for the CAF Confed Cup game vs AS Vita next week .
