Ghana winger Solomon Asante has reunited with his former TP Mazembe team mate and Ghanaian midfielder, Gladson Awako at Phoenix Rising FC in the United Soccer League.
An official statement from Phoenix Rising FC reads; "Ghanaian International Solomon Asante Joins Phoenix Rising. He'll be reuniting with @Awako_28 and Patrice Carteron, who were formally with Congolese side @TPMazembe"

Asante left DR Congo giants Tout Puissant Mazembe (TP Mazembe) following the expiration of his contract this week.
He departed the Lubumbashi-based outfit after a four year-stay with the Ravens, rejecting a proposal from the club's management to ink a renewal.
The diminutive attacker received an offer from Phoenix Rising FC immediately he was released by TP Mazembe and successfully finalize a deal with the United States League side on Thursday.
Since Asante joined the TP Mazambe in 2013, he helped lead the club to three league titles in four seasons in addition to an African Super Cup title in 2016 and an African Champions League title in 2015. Asante has also played internationally, earning 17 caps with the Ghana National Team.
Asante's new team mate , Gladson Awako joined Phoenix Rising FC in September 2017 after a five-year stint with TP Mazembe of the Congolese first division.
Awako is a high-Flying and skillful midfielder, who plays as playmaker, he is also a former fullback.
The two pacy attackers also starred with Brong Ahafo- based Ghanaian club, Berekum Chelsea .
Phoenix Rising FC is a club co-owned by former Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba.
