Former Aduana Stars defender Daniel Darkwah has joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal ahead of the upcoming season, SilverFM can confirm.
The versatile left footer penned a deal with the porcupine warriors after a successful medical on Sunday.
Darkwah left the Dormaa-based club last season after he refused to renew his contract. He helped them to win the Premier League title last season.

The left-back revealed his exploits with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko after a deal with South African side, Maritzburg United unfortunately fell through after failing a two-week trials.

Daniel Darkwah was left out of the Aduana Stars squad for this year’s CAF Champions League.

He was also a member of the Black Stars B team that failed to make it to the Championship of African Nations tournament , however he missed out in the WAFU Cup of Nations team due to injury.

His arrival at Kotoko will further boost the Porcupine Warriors as the team bolster its squad ahead of upcoming season which will see them play in CAF Confederation challenge.

He is expected to be unveiled during the Kotoko-Hearts G8 semi-final ‘SuperClash’ Wednesday.
