Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steven Polack says he’s content with the development in the play and cohesion of his players ahead of the new season which will see them play in the CAF Confederation challenge.

In his view, the attitude and focus of his players has been improving after every game as they have been following his instructions.

The English trainer made these remarks at a presser after his charges recorded a slim 1-0 win against Beninese top-flight side Buffles du Bougou FC in a friendly international match on Thursday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

“We enjoyed the game. I spoke to them before the game; to keep the ball and use their pace. Overall, I’m pleased and it’s going the right direction.”Any international game is very difficult and they were strong in first 10-15 minutes of the game” Polack observed.

“The attitude of my boys was good even though they lost possession in some moment; they will be used to it. That’s why we play some of these games” Polack told journalists after the friendly game.
