The management of Asante Kotoko has extended their heartfelt appreciation to the teeming followers, sponsors and partners after their slim 1-0 victory over Congolese side Club Athletique Renaissance Aiglon CARA.
Kotoko kicked off their CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Sunday recording a lone goal over the Congolese club in a five penalty thriller in which the FA Cup holders squandered three with the visitors also missing one.
Substitute, Yakubu Mohammed converted a late penalty for the porcupine warriors to put them ahead of the first league in the preliminary round at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The management thanked the supporters for their support during the match and the media for the effort offered during the match.

Also; special thanks goes out to the media for their efforts and general conduct during the match.
