Ghanaian Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have suspended Head Coach Frank Elliot Nuttall for 'unsporting and unethical behaviours which contradicted the club's code of conduct'
In a press release , the club indicated that the decision was arrived at on Monday February 12, 2018 after an emergency meeting by the board and the Scottish trainer had admitted to the these behaviours.
The club have directed assistant coach Henry Wellington to take charge of the team until further notice.
Although Hearts didn’t throw more light on unwarranted conduct, it is said that Nuttal’s suspension is as a result of his alleged involvement in the exit of some key players. According to reports, Nuttal influenced the decisions of Vincent Atingah, Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito as well as Winful Cobbinah to leave the club.
Nuttall is unlikely to return to post before the start of the season.

The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited has, with immediate effect, suspended the club's Head Coach , Frank Elliot Nuttall for unsporting and unethical behaviours which contradicted the club's code of conduct.
The decision was arrived at in an emergency board meeting held on Monday ,12th February, 2018 at which Coach Nuttall admitted to these behaviours that the Board considers detrimental to the interests of the club.
Also, a three-man committee of board members - Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe(Chairman), Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills ad Mr. Frank Nwokolo Nelson- has been constituted to investigate all issues relating to this matter and report its findings to the board by Friday, February 16, 2018.
In the meantime , Coach Henry Lamptey Wellington has been asked to take charge of the team's training sessions until further notice.
The Board would like to ask for the continuous support and cooperation of all stakeholders during this period.
