Communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Kwadwo Kyei Amoako has said that as far as he is concerned, deficiency of a visionary leader to be in the helm of affairs still lingers and deteriorating the country.
According to the IT Consultant the country needs a leader who will ensure that all public institutions are engineered or tasked with an innovative approach to establishing goals.
He made his intentions known following the President’s bid to successfully achieve his objective, in the process of developing projects aimed at increasing production and distribution of solar energy across the country.
Speaking on SilverFM’s ‘Omanbapa Morning Show’ with host Malik Sarfo Kantanka (PROF), the NPP Communicator said, “The country has not seen a lot of developments after Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. This is as a result of the inefficiencies of our public institutions”
“In order to see President Akufo-Addo’s vision and poise of what Ghana needs to be beyond aid, the public institutions must also work to help the government achieve these goals within set time lines”
“I am NPP member and a communicator who is so passionate about some issues affecting the development and action plans of the government especially in the Ashanti Region” he lamented.
Kwadwo Kyei also stressed on Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly exercise to relocate traders occupying pavements and unauthorized places in Kumasi but quickly vent his displeasure at the move which he says has seen the vacated areas currently occupied by drivers and also serving as profit making joints for some unregistered officials.
